AI Fragrance Finder is a free tool provided by Fragrance Compass that returns AI fragrance recommendations from natural-language queries. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Plain language is used throughout.
No account required
You do not need to create an account to use AI Fragrance Finder. We do not collect names, email addresses, passwords, or profile data.
Search queries
When you submit a search, the query text is sent to our backend and to Fragrance Compass so it can be interpreted and used to generate recommendations. Do not include personal or sensitive information in your queries.
Analytics data
We use a product analytics provider (PostHog) to understand how the product is used. This may include usage events and non-identifying device/browser information. Text inputs are masked in session recordings.
Affiliate links
The Partner Pick card links to third-party retailers. Fragrance Compass may earn a commission if you shop through these links. We do not receive your payment information — that stays with the retailer.
Cookies and local storage
We use minimal cookies and local storage to support analytics and core functionality. No advertising cookies are set.
Data sharing with service providers
We share data only with service providers who help us operate the product, including our hosting provider, Fragrance Compass (for recommendation generation), and PostHog (analytics). We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain minimal operational logs for security and quality purposes only.

We take reasonable measures to protect the data we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
